Geography and anthropology are not that distantly related in the social sciences. Geography has some many facets that you can study many things and lump them under the general title of geography. Here are my geography links. I'll miss teaching geography.

My eBook on expat life in Bali is now available for purchase. Please click on the link to learn more about this book that you'll want to read if you plan on moving to Bali. Here's what a reader has said about this book:
"Bruce Pohlman's e-book has already been a godsend to my wife Elsha and me. He writes in an inviting and colorful way. He covers the GENERAL: culture shock, the wonders and risks of living overseas, to the SPECIFIC - costs of living, housing, medical issues, visas, employment. He even includes much PERSONAL info: what expats are like, why he left a job in San Francisco and ended up in Bali, personal and family relationships. And much more; anything you might want to know is in his e-book, with links to helpful websites throughout. We've used it to guide us countless times; it's like having a trusted uncle who's an expert. This book should become a classic about Bali."

are great geography games that you can play here for free.
Not just for Asia, but that's my favorite.
Climate.org - A Project of the Climate

climate.
David Rumsey Historical Map Collection,

love maps, you have to check out this site.
Earth Album Alpha , is a simpler, slicker Flickr mash-up that allows you to explore some of the most stunning photos in the world courtesy of Google maps and Flickr. To begin your journey, just click somewhere on the map, e.g. "India". Note-- since the top Flickr images are used, the images change every few weeks; bookmark this site and check back for a different experience in a month!
I put this in geography because where else can I put it. It really is cool to play with and if your students are working on social studies or geography research projects this is a great place to get some photos to add to their blog, website, or research paper.

It also includes an international data base containing statistical
